Just a few words to extend a very warm welcome to all family, friends and relatives who have come to visit this site.
Following the success of my dad’s 80th Birthday website earlier this year, I knew it would be unthinkable to allow my mum to escape her turn under the spotlight! Therefore, having put pen to paper,….. or rather fingers to keyboard, I am now delighted to be able to share with you, on this fabulous occasion of her 80th Birthday, some of her experiences, tales and precious memories that have shaped her life.
Regardless of whether your acquaintance with my mum stretches back many years or is from more recent times, I am sure that each of you will have made an important contribution to the richness and fullness of my mum’s life to date.
I intend to keep this site updated with the latest news, stories and photos so please continue to check back on a regular basis! Should you uncover any further photos or tales about my mum – please send them my way! I am in the process of compiling some photo galleries which will be added to the site shortly. For those of you who have already responded to my pleas for help, my sincere thanks – it has been a real pleasure to be in touch with you all and your assistance has been most appreciated.
